The 2007 season’s undisputed Rocker, Mark blew everyone away with his Wildcard performance of Stevie Wright’s Aussie classic ‘Evie’ ! Dicko telling him he was the season’s ‘best performer’ and Kyle Sandilands complained that the audience was screaming so enthusiastically he found it hard to hear. He impressed TV viewers too, and was the 2nd Wildcard performer voted through into that seasons top 12. Mark is now in demand as a corporate entertainer nation wide with “The Black List”.
Luke HeafeyLuke – Lead vocals/guitar ‘At 24, Luke Heafey is already a seasoned performer and writer. A naturally gifted multi-instrumentalist, Luke’ talents have seen him support artists including The Waifs, Grinspoon, Jimmy Barnes, Brooke Fraser, playing at every major venue in Sydney, collaborate with and play along side hip-hop sensations D.O.M.E, the enigmatic Darryl Beaton and the Potbelleez. A graduate of the Australian Institute of music, Luke is one of the most versatile guitarists in the scene doing regular jazz, hip-hop, soul, hard rock, musical and acoustic gigs. Dominic CabreraDom – Drums After being the most prized all-around musician in his high school, Dominic was offered a Bachelor of Music course at the Australian Institute of Music despite not having his HSC. During the 2 years he has spent studying at AIM, he has networked, performed and recorded with some of Australia’s leading and upcoming talents in the music industry. He has learnt from some of the world’s best musicians and educators and his studies and exploration has also led him to find a real passion for experimental, jazz and hip-hop. Today, nearing the end of his studies, Dom is busy working on several projects with a diverse styling of musicians, instructing drums and making a living from what he loves doing. Richard SwantonRichie – Bass vocals/guitar “Richard ‘Richie’ Swanton is a 21yo bass player from Roseville, Sydney. He recently completed a bachelor of music at The Australian Institute of Music, majoring in Bass Guitar performance and has his sights set on a career in the music industry. Richard has performed in a number of original and covers bands, bringing to each group a solid time feel, infectious groove and that rumble from down under that tickles you in strange places. He has been fingering the strings for over 7 years and is totally addicted to bass.”
