He has toured New Zealand with a Beatles concept show The Australian Beatles Show, played with Colourblind, a dance band that played Sydney & toured the East coast of NSW. In addition to playing guitar & songwriting, Keith decided to pursue singing. His efforts payed off fronting a funk band called Talkin’ Loud which worked the club & pub circuits throughout Sydney as well as numerous private functions & corporate work. Most recently he was in a blues band called Moodswing which mainly featured an assortment of Stevie Ray Vaughn tunes which were always crowd winners at all the blues venues where they performed. Keith’s solid earthy grass roots vocals combined with his rhythmic guitar style were just what the good doctor ordered for Hip Not Hop! Marco Daniele – Starting out at age 9 playing clarinet in the Police Boys Club “Big” Band & the school orchestra, Marco also taught himself bass, which led him to formally learn guitar as well as attending the Conservatorium of Music. He initiated & joined numerous original projects writing & co-writing all material. Reinventing himself musically he picked up saxophone & was combining his guitar gigs with his sax skills playing the wedding & function circuit. His passion for recording & multi instrumental ability led him to compose several short film scores. He joined a Roy Orbison tribute show Only the Lonely playing guitar, sax & harmonica & later played sax, clarinet & guitar with another tribute show Here’s to the Ladies. Both shows enjoyed playing the club auditorium circuit. He joined The Honeymakers big band in 2004 playing 1st alto sax. His love for playing live & of popular music, led him to initiate Hip not Hop. Marco’s funky sax / guitar / harmonica & backing ability bring style, colour & soul to this exciting duo!
